Fishing 2007 with Chris and Steve Straight day 1 006

Our little rural town of Ninilchik, Alaska is centrally located between Soldotna and Homer on the Sterling Hwy. and is home to some of the finest Kenai Halibut Fishing and King Salmon Fishing in the world. Ninilchik River borders us on the North side and Deep Creek hems in our little fishing town on the South side.
You'll be delighted at how easy it is to get here. Ninilchik is approximately 180 miles from Anchorage and can be reached with a 3 1/2 hour beautifully inspiring drive through majestic scenery on a newly remodeled Highway. Anchorage has a large international airport with convenient air service from nearly all major cities. Most of our clients from out of state fly into Anchorage, rent a car and drive to Ninilchik. If you choose to use the local airlines, there are two airports conveniently located; one in Kenai and the other in Homer, both less than an hour's drive either way. The smaller commuter planes leave about every half hour and the scenic flight, a memory in itself, is about 20-25 minutes.
